Weeks 1–2
Pain
Calm the current flare.
Hands-on techniques take the edge off the pain that’s flaring right now, starting your very first visit.
What We Treat
Pain you’ve learned to work around, and more than one provider without a real answer. We start with a cause-first evaluation and a plan you can actually follow.

Why It Happens
Pain that’s stuck around for months or years doesn’t mean there’s nothing physical behind it. Long-standing pain almost always has a real, identifiable driver. It just gets missed when treatment only chases the symptom instead of the source: movement compensations that never got addressed, muscle guarding patterns that became habit, joint restrictions that quietly built up over years of working around the pain instead of through it.
That’s exactly why a real cause-first evaluation matters more here than almost anywhere else. You’ve already tried the generic advice: stretch more, rest it, give it time. It hasn’t worked, not because you didn’t try hard enough, but because nobody dug deep enough to find what’s actually driving it. That’s the piece that’s been missing.
The Honest Truth
Nobody regrets starting too early. Every week, someone in our clinic says they regret waiting.
How We Fix It
Every plan has an endpoint, though genuinely chronic cases can take longer to get there. Here’s what the four phases look like for long-standing pain.
Weeks 1–2
Pain
Hands-on techniques take the edge off the pain that’s flaring right now, starting your very first visit.
Weeks 2–6
Prime
Targeted mobility work loosens the areas that have quietly been driving your compensations, sometimes for years.
Weeks 6–10
Perform
Progressive strengthening rebuilds the capacity that chronic pain has worn down, one safe step at a time.
Weeks 10+
Prevent
Chronic pain management is ongoing, not a one-time fix. This phase sets you up with a sustainable, long-term plan you can actually keep.
Brad is an amazing Physical Therapist. He alleviated my pain within weeks. I had seen MANY physical therapists that misdiagnosed my problem. Brad identified it within the first visit, and he knew exactly how to treat it. Every part of my life improved after becoming Brad’s patient because my pain began to lessen and my strength increased.

Questions, Answered
That’s a fair question, and you deserve a real answer. A lot of physical therapy is generic: the same exercise sheet for every patient, rotating between different people each visit, without much real time spent finding what’s actually driving your pain. Our model is different. Every visit is one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and we start with a cause-first evaluation instead of a generic protocol. If the real driver got missed the first time, this is how we find it.
In most cases, yes. Chronic pain often makes people more cautious about movement than they need to be, but the right amount and type of activity, dosed correctly for your body, tends to help more than rest does. Your Doctor of Physical Therapy figures out exactly how much you can safely do, then adjusts that dose as you improve.
Chronic pain can take longer to resolve than a recent injury, and we’ll be honest with you about that from the start. Your plan still runs through the same four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform, and Prevent, with clear checkpoints along the way. You’ll always know which phase you’re in and what’s next, not an open-ended string of visits with no endpoint in sight.
