I went to see Dr Brad after having some issues with pain in my knee. During our first visit, he gave me some exercises to stretch my knee at home. These exercises have not only helped relieve the pain but really help when the pain returns after heavy activity. I'm thankful for Dr Brad and his team and for what he did to help make me feel better.
I went to Focus Therapy for a discovery consultation. I have upper and lower back pain, and I really wanted to figure out what I could do about it. From the moment I got in, the staff was super professional, kind and helpful. Brad was incredibly respectful, and very knowledgeable; you can tell he knows his stuff! He was very helpful in helping to determine what the potential cause for my back pain was, and what I can start doing about it. 100% highly recommend!!
Spot on therapy by Dr Renee Poirier. Knowledgeable and friendly. Specialist in spine scoliosis, Pectus Excavatum (Google it), knees, muscles, etc.. I had better results here after one visit than other places did, or not, accomplish after multiple visits. I just wish that they did insurance billing.
I worked with Renee to help pain that developed from adult-diagnosed scoliosis. She used in-office therapies and sent me home with exercises to help my muscles hold my spine in the best possible position. I walked in there almost unable to drive and today I can get in a car and go, no problem. I'm SO grateful for all her extensive training and the lasting results I'm able to enjoy. I live 90 minutes away from the office and it was 100% worth the long weekly trip during my treatment. Would recommend to anyone before considering surgery or more invasive options to correct scoliosis.
I’ve been pain-free for two years now. I’ve had a couple of mild flare-ups, but, I now know what to do to stop the pain from escalating. I am so very appreciative of all the folks at Focus! Especially, Dr Brad and Fonda! They have been beyond helpful and kind to me. I highly recommend these guys if you need help eliminating your back pain! I was a mess before I found them!
If you are searching for personalized and compassionate care, look no further. Brad and his team at Focus are the absolute best! I have been a patient of Brad's for many years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I am doing great thanks to Brad and his expertise and encouragement. Thank you Brad and everyone at Focus Physical Therapy!
I couldn't recommended Brad highly enough. Brad is willing to listen to you. He will thoroughly communicate all treatment plans with you. It is very clear that brad cares about his patience and their recovery.
I HIGHLY recommend Brad with Focus Physical Therapy! He successfully treated my 11 year old daughter and myself for different knee issues and we are exceptionally grateful! The time and attention he gives his patients in each session is more than generous. He really understands the issues and provides the perfect in-person treatment and at-home exercises. As a runner with chronic issues, I can honestly say I have never experienced healing as quickly as I did under Brad's care.
Renee is wonderful!!! She has helped me recover from injuries and a foot surgery as well as deal with chronic back issues from sports and age related arthritis. Renee is extremely skilled and intuitive in physical therapy and is professional as well as fun to work with. I am so thankful for her help to be stronger, have less pain, and enjoy my life more fully!
I’m so thankful for Brad and Focus PT! I was having major back and hip pain and spent weeks at another therapy place with no results. I switched to Brad and got my ability to function in daily life back. I highly recommend going to see him.
Brad is a true PT expert and his firm is constantly FOCUSED on only the best results for their clients. I have known him for a while now through networking marketing groups and being the healthcare community. I would not hesitate to send any clients to Brad that need PT or are just suffering from long-time pain that they can't seem to find answers or relief from.As a bonus, he has stayed ahead of the technology curve and is an active telehealth practitioner and IS CURRENTLY OPEN FOR BUSINESS. If anyone you know needs physical therapy, call or e-mail Brad today.
I will continue to recommend Focus physical therapy to my friends and family. Brad has helped me heal, so quickly, from several injuries. I suffered from hip pain for over a year before a friend recommended that I go see Brad for a consult. After 5 sessions I was 100% pain free. I am a very active person and I continue to see Brad anytime an injury occurs at the gym. He has helped me with back pain, hip pain, shoulder pain and even just to loosen up tight quads from an intense workout, to prevent injury. Brad is very knowledgeable and quick to find out exactly where my pain is coming from. I love how Brad educates me about each of my injuries and always provides me with the best materials and tools needed to move forward with my home exercises. I can’t say enough positive things about Brad. On top of being so professional and knowledgeable he really cares about me as a patient. He always checks up on me between visits, to make sure that I don’t have any concerns or questions. Try out focus physical therapy. You won’t be disappointed.
Fantastic, one on one care that has been a game changer to my quality of life. Treatments are not only effective but the personal attention and care given to all clients is unique in this quantity over quality world. Highly recommend!
I was very impressed with Brandon's techniques and effectiveness. He was able to make pain go away in just a few sessions that I hadn't been able to address with months of other treatment options. Great bedside manner, very comfortable and convenient office location, and Brandon's obviously just a heck of a guy, genuinely interested in and enthusiastic about helping people live more comfortable, pain-free lives. Couldn't recommend him more highly.
I went to see Dr. Brad Conder for some help with Neck pain I had been experiencing. After about 15 minutes of Q&A he was able to pin point what the issue was and was immediately able to start treating my pain. He was also very helpful in educating me on the "why". I really appreciate him taking the time to help me understand because it gives you comfort in knowing why so maybe you can prevent any future injuries.
Best physical therapist group in Louisville! Brad and his team are very knowledgable. I am pregnant and he educated me on the issue I was dealing with & also gave me things to do at home to relieve pain. I would 100% recommend him and his group! Very professional!
Brad has helped me on multiple occasions over the past several years. I can’t express enough how grateful I am to have found him. You could not ask for a more knowledgeable, professional and caring individual. Not only did he help me return to my active lifestyle, but I also feel I made a wonderful friend, as well.
The care provided by this office is exceptional. They make you feel cared for and valued as a patient.I see Brandon, who always takes the time to delve into the root of the problem. I’ve learned so much about what was causing my pain, and I’ve been empowered to strengthen myself and tackle the issue head on. The knowledge I’ve gained regarding the mechanics of the body is invaluable.I cannot recommend Focus Physical Therapy enough!
I was very impressed by Brandon Evan’s knowledge and experience in the area of physical therapy. My first experience with Brandon was at my employer's health fair. Brandon initiated a conversation questioning if I was experiencing any physical pain. I describe that day that my neck was bothering me, he then proceeds to tell me about the tension that I could be feeling around my head associated with the neck pain. I had been experiencing the head tension for a while, but I never associated the uncomfortable head tension with my neck soreness. After two one-on-one sessions with Brandon, the neck soreness and head tension were gone. After each session, Brandon provided stretches for me to do to prevent my neck and shoulder muscles from tightening up again. Brandon is very professional, kind, and helpful. I highly recommend him to others for physical therapy.
I saw Brandon for chronic headaches with neck and shoulder pain. He took so much time to research everything and explained it to me clearly, as to why I was having certain pain. I went from having headaches about 20 times a month to about 4. I highly recommend Brandon because his passion for physical therapy is obvious from your first evaluation. He is truly dedicated to each patients well being and quality of life.
I initiated a visit to Brandon after suffering from shoulder pain off and on for a year. Brandon did a thorough assessment and made recommendations for treatment including exercises, dry needling and manipulation by him in the treatment setting. After three sessions 90 percent of my discomfort was gone! Brandon is thorough in explaining the treatment and very professional. I would highly recommend Brandon as a physical therapist.
I have been going to Brandon for Physical Therapy for the past month. I am currently going to school to be a Physical Therapist. He has helped me immensely through the time I have been seeing him. During the treatment you can tell he is not merely going through the motions. He truly cares and wants you to understand the purpose of what he is doing. I have noticed a difference in my abilities to continue to exercise, but in a safe manner. Brandon is personable and makes you feel comfortable. He makes sure you are truly getting better and makes sure that when you are leaving your pain has decreased. There were certain times where a different area of my body was aggravated and he was willing to look at it. I believe that Brandon gives a holistic view to Physical Therapy and will help you accomplish the goals you wish to achieve. I would highly recommend seeing Brandon to anyone needing Physical Therapy.
Brandon,I want you to know what a difference you have made in helping me achieve my new, pain-free life.Just a month ago, I was so lost and confused on why I was always in pain. I would wake up with pain, and the pain would get worse throughout the day; it was hard getting rest at bedtime. Then the next day, it would start all over. It all started around January of 2017. I tried it all: from Chiropractor to Acupuncture, cupping, a few Physical Therapy sessions and every type of massage available out there. I only got temporary relief and it reminded me what it felt like to not be in so much pain. I was taking so many over the counter pills to the point that my body built up a high tolerance as they barely helped and inevitably, the pain always came back. My mind eventually accepted the pain as a part of me.I felt like I struck gold when I discovered that my highly trained physical therapist Brandon was available to see me at Louisville Athletic Club by Jeffersontown. I have had some physical therapy but have never had such excellent attention that was directly applied for my problem.I received a total of 7 visits and now my shoulder pain is almost completely gone. Now I have a much greater range of motion and feel like a 25 year old in a 25 year old body. I have been having pain with my shoulder/neck for over a year and in a matter of three weeks the pain has reduced from a 5-7 to a 1-2.He explained what was going on with my body and the root of the pain in detail. He was both knowledgeable and intuitive in his approach to my therapy. He incorporated a program specifically designed with my needs and goals in mind using his keen sense of restorative and kinetic understanding.Brandon has been instrumental in my progress to gain strength, balance and flexibility, thus bringing a new awareness to all my workouts. He encouraged my success with his positive attitude and attentiveness. He provided me with specific exercises and recommended I rearrange my desk/chair at the office to better support my posture. Everything worked!Three weeks later, now, a radical change has taken place. PhysicalTherapy with Brandon has allowed me to 100% return to the activities that I had lost hope of ever doing again. After completing our work I think it will be a good idea for me to come back for monthly tune ups.I have been treated, in the past, for the pain I had by different types of specialists enough to recognize superior performance in your profession. You are a very skilled physical therapist. In addition to being very talented, you are kind, very patient, and inspire hope that change can take place and that hard work will be rewarded.Things have improved so much at home and work. Trusting you and your skills has given me a new, pain-free life. Brandon, you earned my respect and credibility since day 1. I wish I had called you sooner. So, Brandon, I am in your debt, and it gives me great pleasure to express my gratitude to you; I really look forward to being your patient and friend for a lifetime.Best regards,Ivan Rodriguez
Worked a miracle for me is my opinion. I'd been to two physicians, three chiropractors, two massage therapists and another physical therapist. They all had their opinions but none had an answer that worked for me. Mr. Conder was a professional who had the time to listen to my symptoms. He had the knowledge base to know what questions to ask and what exam maneuvers to do, and the experience to practice his skill. In the first visit, I had some relief, just as he'd promised. He had me nearly symptom-free within 4 weeks. Now he's turned me loose and I just need to do some stretches and exercises to maintain the progresses. He did a procedure called "dry needling" on me. I'd heard of it but never had it done to me before. Don't let it scare you. First of all, it doesn't hurt, and second of all, it seems to really work, and in a fast way. I was relieved with the first time he did it. I'm really glad to have found Brad. I've referred over a half-dozen friends to him and I'm really glad he'll be there for me if I ever have an issue like this again.
I've seen Brad for 2 separate issues now. I am an avid runner, biking and weightlifting enthusiast. He never once told me I would have to stop doing things I love but found a plan through exercise, massage and manipulation, dry needling and other work that not only worked to heal the problem but let me live this life I love. That speaks volumes for him and his work, if you have seen other PT's you know how hard it is to find one that supports your active lifestyle. Focus has been phenomenal! I would highly recommend to anyone I know!
Brad is awesome. Before I went to him, I was in pain for months. The ER and my family doctor thought I had damaged an oblique, but it wouldn't heal and I could not function. Brad was able to identify the problem, immediately, as referred pain from my vertebra. My pain decreased after my first session and I was pain free within a month.Brad was genuinely concerned with helping me, and I am glad I found him!
I worked with Dr. Brad for a 4-5 weeks before moving cross country for college. He helped me manage my knee pain faster and greater than any other physical therapist had before. He has such a wonderful character, I really enjoyed spending my hour with him while he did his healing techniques. He went above and beyond for me, and I cannot thank him enough!
He worked me into his schedule and was prompt with his appointment times. He was very thorough is his diagnosis and not afraid to very strongly encourage/advise certain avenues of therapy. He was also very helpful in providing exercises to do/not do, with simple explanations of why and how I highly recommend this practice!
Been working with Brad for about a month for shoulder and hip problems. He does great work during our sessions and takes the time to educate me about what we're doing and why, and helps me to make improvements on my own. Great guy to work with and worth every penny.
Dr Brad made such a difference in the pain level from a back injury. He explained how and why the pain was affecting me and showed me exercises and stretches to alleviate any pain between appointments. Very knowledgeable and clearly wants to help people live a happier, healthier life.
When it was decided I was going to have a knee replacement, I went to Brad for prehab. Thru several therapy techniques he was able to decrease the pain and strengthen the knee so that I was able to delay the surgery for about a year.
Turns out that painting your house can result in tennis elbow. Once the doctor ordered physical therapy I knew exactly who I wanted to treat me. Dr. Conder is a family friend and I knew he was opening his own practice because he wanted to provide patient-focused one on one treatment without the time constraints placed on them by large practice management philosophy. After just two sessions he recommended dry-needling as a way to expedite healing. That is exactly what it did. Three visits and the pain was gone. Dr. Conder's treatment minimized the disruption to my schedule which was just as important as treating the pain.Missy Delaquis
Brad is an amazing Physical Therapist. He alleviated my pain within weeks. I had seen MANY physical therapists that misdiagnosed my problem. Brad identified it within the first visit, and he knew exactly how to treat it. Every part of my life improved after becoming Brad's patient because my pain began to lessen and my strength increased.
I have suffered from chronic leg pain for years and have been to countless physicians and physical therapist. All of them leaving me well... still in pain. Brad spent more than an hour with me on my first visit and made sure that I not only got answers to my questions but, a treatment plan with hope at the end. After I got off of the treatment table I felt great and the next day even better. I always feel confident referring my clients to see Brad when they have pain or injuries.
