Our Commitment

Accessibility Statement

We want every patient to be able to use this website, regardless of ability. Here's what we've done, and how to reach us if something isn't working for you.

Last reviewed: September 15, 2026

Focus Physical Therapy is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation.

Conformance Target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more usable for everyone, and they are the standard referenced in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Section 504 rule and commonly applied in ADA Title III web accessibility matters.

Measures We've Taken

  • Semantic HTML structure with landmarks, headings, and a skip-to-content link on every page.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
  • Forms with programmatically associated labels, clear error messages, and required-field indicators that don't rely on color alone.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators throughout the site, including on our booking form and navigation menu.
  • Color combinations checked against WCAG contrast requirements.
  • Support for reduced-motion preferences: if your device is set to reduce motion, animations on this site are minimized or disabled.
  • Content that remains readable if JavaScript doesn't load, wherever possible.

We do not use accessibility overlay or widget scripts. We believe genuine accessibility comes from how a site is built, not from a third-party script layered on top.

Ongoing Review

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We periodically review this site, and we update it when we find something that doesn't meet our standard or when a patient lets us know about a barrier they've run into.

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some parts of this site rely on services we don't control:

  • Our Google reviews widget and embedded Google Map are provided by third parties. If either one gives you trouble, the phone number and address are always available in plain text nearby, and you can also read our reviews directly on Google (opens in a new tab).
  • Some older blog posts and linked documents predate our current accessibility standards and may not fully meet them yet. We're working through these on an ongoing basis.

If you encounter a barrier that isn't listed here, please tell us. That's exactly the kind of report that helps us fix it.
