Renee worked with my son after a scoliosis diagnosis. She was incredibly helpful in teaching us appropriate technique and methods to strengthen and stretch his muscles. I firmly believe that the exercises she taught us prevented the curve from getting worse. I’m thankful for her practice!

I’ve had a great experience @ Focus PT! This was totally different from PT I’ve received in the past, which is a positive! There is no riding a bike for 45 mins or being pressured to sign up for multiple sessions. I was able to get an appointment quickly and the treatments provided immediate relief. The timing of the sessions work perfectly with my schedule, and we’re targeted to my issue. Renee & team are great!!!

I can’t say enough good about Focus Physical Therapy and my therapist Renee. She’s very professional and experienced. She knows exactly where to find my “trigger” points and works strategically to relieve them. In addition she introduces new exercises for me to work on and build my strength. Renee even sends me video clips for visual help with my exercises. Together it’s a five-star team working together for a wonderful experience. In my case, from the first visit Kelly, Sara and Fonda helped me successfully navigate the insurance paperwork after my car accident. I would highly recommend Focus Physical Therapy and their team of professionals.

We had an excellent experience with Focus Physical Therapy. Kelly made scheduling and payment easy and was always a pleasure to talk to. Renee thoughtfully and thoroughly assessed our teenage daughter’s back pain, then worked with her to create a custom treatment plan that eliminated her pain in about 6 weeks. Renee listened to our daughter’s feedback and adjusted the exercises as needed, which ensured the treatment plan was reasonable and achievable. After completing treatment we have received several follow-up texts to check in, and are happy to report that the pain is consistently reduced but when there is an occasional flare up our daughter has learned what she needs to do to take care of herself now.

Dr. Brad was just what I needed for my shoulder pain. He conducted a thorough intake and assessment and got to the root of the problem and treated right away. His expertise during our sessions provided instant relief. He provided me a home exercise plan that keeps my shoulder healthy and allows me to train hard. I went to Focus PT for shin splints, and I was very impressed with the care I received. Brad Conder was very knowledgeable and experienced in treating shin splints. He took the time to thoroughly assess my injury and develop a personalized treatment plan that was tailored to my specific needs. He was able to get me ready for the mini marathon that I had coming up. I was healed and didn’t have any problems following my visit.

I went to see Dr Brad after having some issues with pain in my knee. During our first visit, he gave me some exercises to stretch my knee at home. These exercises have not only helped relieve the pain but really help when the pain returns after heavy activity. I'm thankful for Dr Brad and his team and for what he did to help make me feel better.

I went to Focus Therapy for a discovery consultation. I have upper and lower back pain, and I really wanted to figure out what I could do about it. Spot on therapy by Dr Renee Poirier. Knowledgeable and friendly. Specialist in spine scoliosis, Pectus Excavatum (Google it), knees, muscles, etc.. I had better results here after one visit than other places did, or not, accomplish after multiple visits. I just wish that they did insurance billing.

I HIGHLY recommend Brad with Focus Physical Therapy! He successfully treated my 11 year old daughter and myself for different knee issues and we are exceptionally grateful! The time and attention he gives his patients in each session is more than generous. He really understands the issues and provides the perfect in-person treatment and at-home exercises. Brad is a true PT expert and his firm is constantly FOCUSED on only the best results for their clients. I will continue to recommend Focus physical therapy to my friends and family. Brad has helped me heal, so quickly, from several injuries. I suffered from hip pain for over a year before a friend recommended that I go see Brad for a consult. After 5 sessions I was 100% pain free. I am a very active person and I continue to see Brad anytime an injury occurs at the gym. He has helped me with back pain, hip pain, shoulder pain and even just to loosen up tight quads from an intense workout, to prevent injury. Brad is very knowledgeable and quick to find out exactly where my pain is coming from. I love how Brad educates me about each of my injuries and always provides me with the best materials and tools needed to move forward with my home exercises. I can’t say enough positive things about Brad. On top of being so professional and knowledgeable he really cares about me as a patient. He always checks up on me between visits, to make sure that I don’t have any concerns or questions. Try out focus physical therapy. You won’t be disappointed.

I was very impressed with Brandon's techniques and effectiveness. He was able to make pain go away in just a few sessions that I hadn't been able to address with months of other treatment options. Great bedside manner, very comfortable and convenient office location, and Brandon's obviously just a heck of a guy, genuinely interested in and enthusiastic about helping people live more comfortable, pain-free lives. I went to see Dr. Brad Conder for some help with Neck pain I had been experiencing. After about 15 minutes of Q&A he was able to pin point what the issue was and was immediately able to start treating my pain. He was also very helpful in educating me on the "why". I really appreciate him taking the time to help me understand because it gives you comfort in knowing why so maybe you can prevent any future injuries.

I was very impressed by Brandon Evan’s knowledge and experience in the area of physical therapy. My first experience with Brandon was at my employer's health fair. Brandon initiated a conversation questioning if I was experiencing any physical pain. I describe that day that my neck was bothering me, he then proceeds to tell me about the tension that I could be feeling around my head associated with the neck pain. I had been experiencing the head tension for a while, but I never associated the uncomfortable head tension with my neck soreness. After two one-on-one sessions with Brandon, the neck soreness and head tension were gone. After each session, Brandon provided stretches for me to do to prevent my neck and shoulder muscles from tightening up again. Brandon is very professional, kind, and helpful. I highly recommend him to others for physical therapy.

I saw Brandon for chronic headaches with neck and shoulder pain. He took so much time to research everything and explained it to me clearly, as to why I was having certain pain. I initiated a visit to Brandon after suffering from shoulder pain off and on for a year. Brandon did a thorough assessment and made recommendations for treatment including exercises, dry needling and manipulation by him in the treatment setting. After three sessions 90 percent of my discomfort was gone! Brandon is thorough in explaining the treatment and very professional. I would highly recommend Brandon as a physical therapist.

I have been going to Brandon for Physical Therapy for the past month. I am currently going to school to be a Physical Therapist. He has helped me immensely through the time I have been seeing him. During the treatment you can tell he is not merely going through the motions. He truly cares and wants you to understand the purpose of what he is doing. Brandon,I want you to know what a difference you have made in helping me achieve my new, pain-free life.Just a month ago, I was so lost and confused on why I was always in pain. I would wake up with pain, and the pain would get worse throughout the day; it was hard getting rest at bedtime. Then the next day, it would start all over. It all started around January of 2017. I tried it all: from Chiropractor to Acupuncture, cupping, a few Physical Therapy sessions and every type of massage available out there. I only got temporary relief and it reminded me what it felt like to not be in so much pain. I was taking so many over the counter pills to the point that my body built up a high tolerance as they barely helped and inevitably, the pain always came back. My mind eventually accepted the pain as a part of me.I felt like I struck gold when I discovered that my highly trained physical therapist Brandon was available to see me at Louisville Athletic Club by Jeffersontown. I have had some physical therapy but have never had such excellent attention that was directly applied for my problem.I received a total of 7 visits and now my shoulder pain is almost completely gone. Now I have a much greater range of motion and feel like a 25 year old in a 25 year old body. I have been having pain with my shoulder/neck for over a year and in a matter of three weeks the pain has reduced from a 5-7 to a 1-2.He explained what was going on with my body and the root of the pain in detail. He was both knowledgeable and intuitive in his approach to my therapy. He incorporated a program specifically designed with my needs and goals in mind using his keen sense of restorative and kinetic understanding.Brandon has been instrumental in my progress to gain strength, balance and flexibility, thus bringing a new awareness to all my workouts. He encouraged my success with his positive attitude and attentiveness. He provided me with specific exercises and recommended I rearrange my desk/chair at the office to better support my posture. Everything worked!Three weeks later, now, a radical change has taken place. PhysicalTherapy with Brandon has allowed me to 100% return to the activities that I had lost hope of ever doing again. After completing our work I think it will be a good idea for me to come back for monthly tune ups.I have been treated, in the past, for the pain I had by different types of specialists enough to recognize superior performance in your profession. You are a very skilled physical therapist. In addition to being very talented, you are kind, very patient, and inspire hope that change can take place and that hard work will be rewarded.Things have improved so much at home and work. Worked a miracle for me is my opinion. I'd been to two physicians, three chiropractors, two massage therapists and another physical therapist. They all had their opinions but none had an answer that worked for me. Mr. Conder was a professional who had the time to listen to my symptoms. He had the knowledge base to know what questions to ask and what exam maneuvers to do, and the experience to practice his skill. In the first visit, I had some relief, just as he'd promised. He had me nearly symptom-free within 4 weeks. Now he's turned me loose and I just need to do some stretches and exercises to maintain the progresses. He did a procedure called "dry needling" on me. I'd heard of it but never had it done to me before. Don't let it scare you. First of all, it doesn't hurt, and second of all, it seems to really work, and in a fast way. I was relieved with the first time he did it. I'm really glad to have found Brad. I've referred over a half-dozen friends to him and I'm really glad he'll be there for me if I ever have an issue like this again.

I've seen Brad for 2 separate issues now. I am an avid runner, biking and weightlifting enthusiast. He never once told me I would have to stop doing things I love but found a plan through exercise, massage and manipulation, dry needling and other work that not only worked to heal the problem but let me live this life I love. That speaks volumes for him and his work, if you have seen other PT's you know how hard it is to find one that supports your active lifestyle. Focus has been phenomenal! I would highly recommend to anyone I know!

Brad is awesome. Before I went to him, I was in pain for months. The ER and my family doctor thought I had damaged an oblique, but it wouldn't heal and I could not function. Brad was able to identify the problem, immediately, as referred pain from my vertebra. My pain decreased after my first session and I was pain free within a month.Brad was genuinely concerned with helping me, and I am glad I found him!

I worked with Dr. Brad for a 4-5 weeks before moving cross country for college. He helped me manage my knee pain faster and greater than any other physical therapist had before. When it was decided I was going to have a knee replacement, I went to Brad for prehab. Thru several therapy techniques he was able to decrease the pain and strengthen the knee so that I was able to delay the surgery for about a year.

Turns out that painting your house can result in tennis elbow. Once the doctor ordered physical therapy I knew exactly who I wanted to treat me. Dr. Conder is a family friend and I knew he was opening his own practice because he wanted to provide patient-focused one on one treatment without the time constraints placed on them by large practice management philosophy. After just two sessions he recommended dry-needling as a way to expedite healing. That is exactly what it did. Three visits and the pain was gone. Dr. Conder's treatment minimized the disruption to my schedule which was just as important as treating the pain.Missy Delaquis

I have suffered from chronic leg pain for years and have been to countless physicians and physical therapist. All of them leaving me well... still in pain. Brad spent more than an hour with me on my first visit and made sure that I not only got answers to my questions but, a treatment plan with hope at the end. After I got off of the treatment table I felt great and the next day even better. I always feel confident referring my clients to see Brad when they have pain or injuries.
