Kara graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2006 with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelors in Health Sciences. She has extensive experience in the hospital and home health settings, and is currently focusing on expanding her outpatient services. She earned her CrossFit Level 1 coaching certification in 2010 and have experience with kids, seniors, adaptive athletes, elite-level athletes, first-time gym goers and everything in between. She has taught mobility programs for several years as well. Her passion and love of physical therapy and CrossFit is driven by the empowerment instilled in her clients.

Kara focuses on injury prevention/early intervention with an emphasis on sports and industrial medicines, post-surgical rehab, and pain management. She has special interests in manual therapies such as dry needling and sports massage.
